Explanation
Kabaddi is a sport with its roots and strongest tradition in Asia, which is also reflected in the scoring system. The Asian Games carry the highest point value as the sport's most prestigious long-standing international competition. The system also includes world and Asian championships, as well as other major regional competitions.
The ranking also incorporates the newer beach kabaddi competitions, which carry a lower point value due to their different format and shorter history.
